Praise Pond Nursery
Praise Pond is open to kids from birth through one year old. The focus of this time is to place young children in a praise-filled, playful and safe atmosphere. The curriculum we use centers around twelve truths (one per month) that the kids can focus on that are foundational principles for their lives. The lessons include: God Helps Me Grow, My Family Loves Me, Jesus Loves Me, God Makes Growing Things, People at Church Help Me, God Cares for Me, God Made Me, God Gives Me Friends, I See God’s Love at Church, Jesus Loves Children, God Gives Me Food, and Jesus Was a Baby.
Creator’s Kingdom Preschool/Kindergarten
Creator’s Kingdom Preschool is open to kids that are three and four years old. Our classroom is decked out in a jungle safari theme. These kids begin to explore Biblical stories to enhance the basic truths taught in Praise Pond. Our teachers use puppets, praise and playtime to connect with these kids in a deep and meaningful way. We also make sure that everything is very “hands-on” so these lessons stick for a lifetime.
Cross Road KidZ
Cross Road KidZ is for kids first through sixth grade. Kids will travel to KidZ town where there’s only one road to heaven! And that’s the Cross Road. Don’t let sin keep you from God. Join us in this church service for kids. We have our own praise and worship, Bible lesson, challenging question time, object lessons, memory verse, puppets, gospel illusions and a whole lot of fun.
SonLight KidZ Club
This is a Wednesday night club for kids first to sixth grade. It is easy to join at any time as each child goes at his/her own pace. Kids will learn the Bible and secure their relationship with the Lord. SonLight Club has many leaders who help in different areas such as: Praise/worship, devotions, handbook time and Game time. We also have a theme night, once a month where kids get to dress up as that theme and can spend their sunny bucks and jewels that they have earned at our SonLight Store.
Light Project Youth
Light Project is our weekly program for high school students at Church in the City. Driven by students and fueled by creativity and relevance, the Light Project focuses on different issues that speak to the life of high school students. Our goal is to:
- Create a comfortable place for students to connect
- Lead students to express their relationship with God through worship
- Communicate God’s truth in a relevant way
- Encourage spiritual growth through healthy friendships
