Annette Duncan, Elder
Annette Duncan has served and led in many areas at CITC and joined the Elder team in 2007. Worship is an area of passion for her, and she serves as one of the Worship Leaders for the church. Prayer is another ministry important to her, reflected in her oversight of Prayer Ministries within the Body. Annette has previously assisted in helping to shape or build such ministries as Service Design, Fine Arts, Women’s Ministries, Concert on the Lawn, and School of the Spirit. She says, “Church in the City is part of God’s plan to create His Kingdom on earth as it is in heaven, and I treasure the opportunity to participate in such a powerful expression of His heart.”
Beyond the walls of CITC, Annette is an Assistant Professor of English at Carthage College in Kenosha, as well as its Director of Supplemental Instruction and Tutoring. She is Secretary of the Board of Directors for Acacia Theatre Company, and serves the Lord both on and off stage through this venue. She is married to Pastor Dave Duncan, and lays at least 50% claim to the co-raising of their seven children.
Marcia Hall has been a member of Church in the City since 1998 and has served in leadership at the church for seven years. Marcia is passionate about serving Christ and others in truly tangible ways. She became a certified minister for the Assemblies of God in 2004 and served our local college campuses through Chi Alpha Student ministries for five years.
Marcia’s love and devotion to God is also evident in her love and devotion to children. She is a professional Parent/Child Consultant and Nanny and also is the liaison to all of our children and youth ministries at CITC.
Marcia and her husband Scott were married in October 2006.
