Dave Duncan, Senior Pastor

Reverend David Duncan has served as senior pastor of Church In The City since January 2000.  He has a Masters of Divinity from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School, and also teaches as an Adjunct Professor at Carthage College.  He and his wife, Annette, have been married for 37 years and have seven wonderful children and a growing passel of grandchildren.  Pastor Dave’s heart is to love and bless others, helping to bring them to maturity in Christ.

Heather Lopez, Children’s Pastor

Pastor Heather’s heart is to help guide children in their walk with Jesus, to see them grow in Him and to seek Him in good times and bad.  Her prayer is that the children will KNOW God, not just about Him, and to follow Him all of the days of their lives.

Annette Duncan, Elder

Annette Duncan is married to Pastor Dave and serves on the Elder Board at Church In The City.  She is an Associate Professor of English at Carthage College and has seven children and numerous grandchildren.  Her various roles at CITC (such as Prophetic Ministry Leader, Worship Team and Leadership Team) bring her much fulfillment as she seeks to lead people toward deeper relationship with Jesus.

Danielle Adisi, Deacon

Danielle is a founding member of the Young Adult Ministry, which she leads with her husband, Thomas. Together, Danielle and Thomas have also founded Adisi Imagery and CoLAB, merging their passion for helping others succeed, with their calling in the performing and visual arts. They have four children ranging from infant to seven years of age, and are proud of their Native American heritage. As a member of the lost millennial generation, Danielle is passionate about emphasizing that giving Jesus our hearts is more primary than achieving correct understanding. A love relationship with Him conquers all, not simply giving mental assent.

Robert Busateri, Elder

Robert Busateri is currently an Elder at Church In The City.  He was a former treasurer and reviews all current treasurer’s documents.  Bob has been a self-employed Accountant in the Milwaukee area since 1995.

Reverend Craig Harper, Elder

Craig Harper serves as an Elder at Church In The City. He is also the Executive Director of The Adult and Great Lakes Teen Challenge of Milwaukee. He is an ordained Assembly of God Minister. His gifts to our body and board in an advisory capacity for reaching the lost are invaluable. We are blessed to be able to use his outreach and organizational skills to reach our community for Christ.

Jen Smith, Elder

Jen Smith is an elder who regularly participates in the service design and multimedia ministries.  She also loves to play percussion for worship when she’s not “in the booth”.  She is an incurable science geek, and enjoys playing with her 85-pound German Shepherd, Fluffy.

Harlan Underwood, Deacon

Harlan Underwood is a deacon and a sound technician.  Serving in the sound ministry gives him an opportunity to help people engage in worship and the Word, and merge his love of music with his love for Jesus.  One of his favorite hobbies is learning different languages and listening to worship in other languages.

David Zakroczymski, Elder

David “Z” is serving as an elder at Church In The City. He serves on the First impressions team and helps his wife in the TLC ministry. David found the Lord in 2001 when he gave his life to Christ at Great Lakes Adult and Teen Challenge of Milwaukee as a student. David is a graduate of the program and made his home in Milwaukee and Church In The City. David has been an Executive Chef at several venues in this great city, but most recently at the Fiserv Forum Arena with the Milwaukee Bucks and now the Bradley Symphony Center. He is part of the opening team of their new location. David looks forward to using his talents helping to use a kitchen remodel at Church In The City for a food pantry outreach and serving the hungry as an outreach during and after COVID-19.

Stephanie Zakroczymski, Deacon/Treasurer

Stephanie “Z” is a deacon, the treasurer, and on staff as the financial administrator and office administrator.  And if that’s not enough, she’s also in charge of the TLC ministry, the hospitality ministry and the first impressions ministry.  Stephanie enjoys being at CITC and with her church friends and family.  Her grandchildren and grand doggies bring her joy.
